Not sure if that is the actual name of this bar, but it’s a tucked away place. I was introduced to it by a friend during my summer vacation that swore it was one of the best places he has had cocktails here in Korea. The owner, who is also the solo bartender has won different awards for his drinks . The place is dark and intimate, which is really lovely. There is only enough room for 9 people at the bar, but if you notice its full he also sells cocktail bags.
Anyone who knows me, knows I like a good drink. A few drinks in particular here have made me wonder where the hell the bartenders learned to make the drink, a blue piña colada? I have never been more disappointed in my life with that drink and I have received it at more than one establishment. So the first thing I ordered here off the menu was a piña colada and it delivered. He used coconut milk to make it, which made my day. His prices are a little steep if you are used to a 5,000 or 6,000 won cocktail. They average between 8,000 and 10,000 won. I have tried about four or five different drinks and all of them have been fantastic.
(My delicious piña colada.)
(My friend’s drink had grapefruit in it, but we never caught the name of it. Absolutely delicious.)
This place is super small and is better kept as a secret so I won’t disclose how to get there exactly. I’ll just let you know that it is located in Juan. If you can find it, I encourage you to only go with one other partner in crime to really enjoy the atmosphere. He speaks a little English and his menu has English and Korean on it if I remember correctly. I will definitely be visiting here again.
